Brothers Clay and Blair Bingham won the Golden Onion Days Two-Man Best Ball Golf Tournament Saturday with a gross score of 62. Clay (pictured) made an Albatross (or Double Eagle) on Hole 8. His second shot, from 190 yards was hit with a six iron. One of the rarest feats in golf, an Albatross is three under par. The brothers played on State Champion Teams from Spanish Fork, coached by John Bingham, who also played in Saturday’s tournament.
It is Clay’s first-ever double eagle. Very few golfers ever achieve one in a lifetime.
